VRFocus - This week has seen the launch of yet another new virtual reality (VR) survival horror title onto Valve's popular Steam Greenlight serivce. That title is Monster Shock from indie developer Fixer Games. The experience hopes to raise enough positive votes to be approved for sale on Valve's digital PC store when it releases in Holiday 2014. Monster Shock is set to feature full support for the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD).

Oculus Rift has impressed us since we first put the virtual reality headset on and back in March, Sony announced Project Morpheus, their own brand of VR headset that would let PS4 gamers to get involved. Which, speaking as a non PC gamer, was music to my ears as I was getting dangerously close to investing in a rig so I could play with an Oculus Rift.
But is Project Morpheus doomed to follow the disturbing pattern Sony has dragged itself through over the last few years? The main PlayStation consoles have been huge successes of course; Im talking about the state of affairs for the PS Move controllers and the PS Vita.

VRFocus - Linden Lab has made a lot of noise about its support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) with its popular social title, Second Life. The title integrated the device in May 2014 and later on in June confirmed that its eventual successor would also feature support. Now the title has even launched on Oculus VR's own software portal, the Oculus VR Share Beta.
